Admission Requirements
Associate’s Programs
The applicant must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to the Associate Programs:

An applicant must offer evidence of successful completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent.


Bachelor’s Programs
The applicant must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to the Bachelor Programs:
An applicant must offer evidence of successful completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent.
An applicant should have completed course work at other accredited colleges and universities.

Master’s Programs
The applicant must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to the Master's Program:
An applicant must have earned a recognized bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Those without a bachelor's degree, with diploma and at least 5 years working experience, may also be considered.


Doctorate Programs
The applicant must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to the Doctorate Program:
An applicant must have earned a recognized masters degree from an accredited college or university.
Demonstrate the ability to succeed in the doctoral program.
Program Requirements: The doctoral program requires 48 semester units above the relevant Master's degree. If the student's Master's degree is not in the same field of study as the doctoral program, the student must make up for his/her training deficiencies by taking the appropriate courses.


Foreign Students
Foreign students will be required to achieve a TOEFL score of 500 before they complete their degree program with the University or take an equivalent English language review test.

Academic Credentials From Foreign Colleges
Students who wish to transfer credits from foreign institutions based outside the United States or Canada must first have those credits evaluated by an organization or agency accepted by University of Rockhampton. UOR recognizes all members of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). A list of the members of NACES can be found at www.naces.org.
