Since 1992, more than 6000 people have earned degrees from University of Rockhampton, and all UOR graduates are automatically members of the Alumni Association. UOR's alumni are leaders in the business, legal and nonprofit communities worldwide. Alumni successes are at the very core of UOR's mission, and the alumni-relations staff, through the Office of University Advancement, strives to provide our graduates with valuable benefits and services, as well as worthwhile events and opportunities.

The Office of University Advancement raises awareness and support of University of Rockhampton. We work to increase loyalty, enthusiasm and financial support among alumni, faculty, staff, trustees, friends and the public to advance the university's historic mission of providing the best possible professional-practice education in business, law, taxation and technology.

Nearly 80 percent of gifts to the university come from alumni and friends. Gifts to UOR help bridge the gap between vision and reality. University of Rockhampton relies on the generosity of its alumni and friends to help close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating students. Contributions to the president's and deans' funds are directed to the university's most pressing needs, allowing us to keep pace with rapidly evolving marketplace and educational requirements.
