University
of Rockhampton mission is to offer
quality distance, non-residential, degree programs,
both undergraduate and graduate, to self-directed
students and working professionals utilizing a variety
of distance learning methodologies.
UOR
is committed to meeting the needs of highly motivated,
independent students whose professional, geographical
or personal time constraints have kept them from completing
their education through traditional, campus-only based
programs.
GOALS
The University's primary goal is to offer continually
improving curriculum which challenges our students
to integrate both their life-learning and professional
experience with the academic programs required by
their specific discipline. These academic programs
can be completed under faculty supervision, or through
self-paced, independent study that does not require
attendance at any specific location.
